AccuOSS Event Quality Assurance (EventQA) provides event quality assurance for your entire Network Management System (NMS). EventQA was created to address a fundamental limitation of Network Management Systems: The accuracy, efficiency, and success of any NMS is dependent on the quality of the events that it acquires and performs processing on. EventQA applies AccuOps algorithms to learn about active and historical events, which enables fast detection of both intra-lifecycle and inter-lifecycle event quality issues. By detecting event quality issues as they emerge, EventQA enables an Operations team to keep an NMS delivering its maximum functional and business value.
How it works
A continuous quality cycle
EventQA runs as a continuous loop: it ingests events from any NMS and analyzes them with AccuOps algorithms to surface event key and clearing issues, then renders the findings as charts, tables, and an Excel workbook. Your team resolves what it finds, and EventQA runs again on the improved event stream.

What EventQA detects.
AccuOSS EventQA automatically detects event quality issues across the entire Network Management System (NMS) event lifecycle — whether they start at the monitored source or within the NMS itself. EventQA detects event key and event clearing issues, which are often the cause of functional defects in areas such as deduplication, trouble ticketing, intra-device level correlation, intra-device level clearing, and advanced cross-device correlation. By resolving the event quality issues that EventQA identifies, an NMS will be more accurate, efficient, and successful.
