    The collection layer ingests events, metrics, flows, and configuration from a multi-vendor estate — Syslog, SNMP, webhooks, TL1, and more — through inbound collectors and active pollers.
  2. Correlation & enrichment
    CAPE, the Custom Action Policy Engine, correlates, enriches, de-duplicates, and suppresses events in real time, outside the database, against internal and external data.
  3. Topology & root cause
    Root Cause Analysis reads the live topology graph to tie an outage to its cause — enriching each event with root-cause versus symptom context.
  4. Machine learning
    Event Analytics detects anomalies from historical baselines and injects them back as root-causal events, suppressing noise so the NOC sees only what is actionable.
