The Bridge
A network operations center runs on its assurance platform; the enterprise runs on ServiceNow. The value is in the bridge between them — and that bridge is exactly what AccuOSS builds and operates. Events from an assurance tool enter ServiceNow Event Management, become de-duplicated alerts bound to configuration items, and open incidents with real service impact; the resolution then flows back to the source so neither system is ever wrong.
There is more than one way to build it, and the right one depends on your estate — a lightweight event push, a polling connector, or a vendor's own gateway. AccuOSS designs, implements, and operates whichever fits, and tunes the event filtering so only the alerts that should raise a ticket ever do.
The Integration Paths
Assurance tools post events to Event Management's inbound web service as JSON; a de-duplication key collapses repeats into one alert, ready to correlate to a configuration item.
Tools push events by webhook, or ServiceNow pulls them on a schedule through a connector running on a MID Server — REST, SOAP, JDBC, or SNMP.
IBM's own Netcool/OMNIbus gateway for ServiceNow creates incidents from alarms, receives back the incident number and identifier, and syncs subsequent changes both ways — a fully closed loop.
A large library of prebuilt integrations drives outbound API calls and status sync, while Service Graph Connectors keep assurance-sourced inventory flowing into the CMDB.
End to End
How AccuOSS delivers it
We know Netcool and Oracle Unified Assurance from the inside, and we know ServiceNow's Event Management, CMDB, and workflow. That is exactly what a closed-loop integration demands.
Event delivery designed for your estate and volumes
Event filtering so only the right alerts raise tickets
CI binding and service-impact mapping that hold up
Bi-directional status sync, proven end to end
Operated and tuned as the network evolves
AccuOSS designs, builds, and operates the bi-directional bridge from your assurance platforms into ServiceNow.
